HERITAGE
The spiritual heritage that had its inspiration in the charity of Christ the Good Shepherd is the Preventive System which Don Bosco bequeathed to the members of the Salesian Family.
It is a method based on Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. It is the art of educating by enabling the person to allow her/his rich potential to emerge and gradually develop through the journey of freedom and responsibility within a cultural, socio-political and ecclesial context.
It is the formative presence of the educator that is welcoming, active and witnessing.
It is creating an environment that is permeated by the Family Spirit where they find space to pray, play, think, plan, work and celebrate.
It is a spirituality both for the educators and the educants.
