Savings and credit Management: All the groups were trained and motivated on the need and importance of savings and credit management. . |

Day care centre for the children of working women and malnourished children: Here the children are nourished with good nutrition. They are taught moral values. Growth monitoring is done every month. |

Antenatal and postnatal care: The pregnant women are given awareness of the need and importance of visiting doctors. They go for check up. They take vaccination regularly. Mothers are aware of the importance of weaning food, baby care and balanced food. |

Nutrition and growth monitoring programme: Through this programme the parents have become aware of the importance of child health. |

Environmental sanitation awareness education: Awareness classes and seminars are conducted for the members to keep their surroundings clean. |

Evening Study Centre: Evening study centre was started in the slum to give the poor children the opportunity to improve in their studies. All the children have shown attitudinal changes. They learn moral values. Children learn extra curricular activities. There is improvement in the leadership qualities. |

Financial Assistance for the poor children, meetings for sponsored children and their parents: Regular meetings have helped FIDES to have constant rapport with the parents and children. Progress of the children is periodically monitored. |

School children Drop-out prevention programme: After introducing this programme drop out rate is reduced. Parents take up the responsibility to send their children to school regularly. |

Income Generation Programmes: Over 1000 Self Help Groups have taken micro credit from groups for starting various micro enterprises. The poor beneficiaries for loans are selected by the group members. |

Meetings for men: Around 200 men attend the meetings regularly. They learn values for their lives. Character formation and moral education classes have given them to take the responsibility to look after their families well. |

Alcoholic Anonymous Programme: A.A. members conduct meetings regularly. They have realized the evil consequences of alcoholism. |
