CDEW Society is a non-profit, non-governmental, secular, voluntary organization started in 1993 to empower the marginalized children, youth and women through Integral Development and Education. It is registered under the Charitable Trust Act (1955). It is authorized to plan, execute, monitor and follow up all the developmental activities of the Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco, Province of Bangalore.
Vision: With the marginalized towards fullness of life. Mission: To build up a caring Society around us, where love, solidarity, peace, economic advancement and women empowerment are nurtured. Five fold strategies of CDEW: Empowerment at Educational, Organizational, Economic, Health and Decision making levels. Target Groups: Marginalized children, Youth and Women with special focus on the S.C., S.T. and O.B. communities, covering a population of four lakhs in the three Southern States of India.
